When taking a cruise it is important to know how to pack because sometimes the cabin can be a tight fit . When you are preparing your suitcase to set sail make sure you bring a good assortment of the right clothes.

First you want to start by checking the weather forecast in the area you will be cruising. Most weather sites allow you to check the weather for 10 days out so you will know the weather during your excursion.

It is important to decide whether you are going to stay on board a lot of the time or get off when you get to port. If you like the pool and laying in the sun then you want to make sure that you bring several bathing suits and cover ups.

If you are going to get off make sure you pack a pair of comfortable walking shoes and leave the flip flops on board.

Make sure that if you plan on eating in the dining room that you bring some dress casual clothes because you will want to be allowed in the dining room for diner. Also there will be one or two formal night aboard the cruise so make sure that you find out ahead of time what the attire is.

Make sure that when you are packing for a cruise that you check with the cruise line first because they will have a recommended list of things to wear. And as always on a cruise you need to enjoy your surroundings and take full advantage of all the cruise has to offer.
